Sandun Town, located at the northwest of Hangzhou, is adjacent to commercial and residential area of Jiangcun Subdistrict in the south, to Xiangfu Town of Gongshu District in the east, to towns of Yuhang District like Liangzhu and Cangqian in the northwest. The area is of 37.93 square kilometers with 18 communities and 6 administrative villages under administration. There are 63 thousand permanent residents and the external population is about 50 thousand.
