There were crowds in Xixi Wetland, Songcheng and village tourist spots and there reached new peaks in various tourism economic indexes. The latest data of district Scenic Tourism Bureau shows that, during National Day holiday, there accepted more than 1.28 million tourists in the whole district, accounting for 34.14% of total visitors to Hangzhou.

        It is worth mentioning that this National Day holiday exactly met the opening of Sandun Lanli Scenic Spot. During the holiday, there have passed the characteristic experience activities such as “Harvest Lanli”, “Lanli Complex” and “Rice Field Music Festival” in this scenic spot to provide unique farming fun and pastoral experience for citizens and tourists and facilitate the village tourism in West Lake. As estimated, Sandun Lanli Scenic Spot that started for the first time accepted 95 thousand tourists during the holiday and attracted crowds.

        Display West Lake brilliance by characteristic activities

        During National Day holiday, there have launched various excellent cultural activities in each major scenic spot of West Lake District, which condenses the strong festive atmosphere and further displays the brilliance of West Lake tourism.

        Based on the traditional festival activities, there innovated the experiential products and successively launched the interactive projects and folk performance such as “harvest market”, fun games, wedding fishing village and classic Shaoxing Opera in Xixi Wetland Park so that citizens and tourists can enjoy the pleasure of harvest at Xixi. Combined with the currently-popular time-travel element, there launched the customized tourism products, “Songcheng Time-travel” the flash show, The White Snake the holographic phantom show, Mountains Fall and Earth Splits the 5D real drama, Lijiang Love Story the real performance and so on in Songcheng Scenic Spot, which have attracted the preference of tourists from various places. As estimated, there have accepted more than 200 thousand tourists in Xixi National Wetland Park and more than 760 thousand tourists in Songcheng Scenic Spot during National Day holiday

        “With changes in tourism consumption structure of tourists, apart from Xixi Wetland and Songcheng, the new rural tourism that attaches importance to leisure and experience, such as riding trip in tea garden, delicious food tourism and farming activities, has attracted the preference of more and more tourists.” disclosed by the relevant responsible person of district Scenic Tourism Bureau. During this National Day holiday , there have accepted more than 177,300 tourists in the four major village tourism blocks including Lingyin Qingzhiwu, Zhuantang Longwu Tea Town, Sandun Lanli Scenic Spot and Shuangpu Lingshan Characteristic Town. 

        Promote the brand of West Lake by enhanced service

        “Before the festival, combined with the current trend of tourism market, the major scenic zones and spots have been combined to prepare for the whole-district National Day activities and National Day travel instructions and recommendation have been released to provide more travel choice for citizens and tourists from other cities in our district. “ said by the relevant responsible person of district Scenic Tourism Bureau. It is just one of the measures to promote the brand of West Lake of West Lake District.

        During National Day holiday, through regular troubleshooting and innovation methods, tourism service has been continuously improved to further highlight the “gold name card” of tourism of our district.

        During the festival, the example of “future scenic zone” of Xixi Wetland formally opened and tourists can enter the park without queuing through the automatic face recognition system. Meanwhile, West Lake District and relevant units developed the joint enforcement action of tourism destinations towards key areas such as Beishan area, Songcheng and Xixi Wetland, enhanced the duty shifts and implemented the 24h holiday duty shift system to ensure that a safe and orderly tourism environment can be provided for citizens and tourists. As reported, the tourism market of our district during National Day was basically safe, stable and orderly without any major tourism complaint or tourism safety accident.
