Yesterday morning, China Film and TV Art Innovation Summit of 2018 and the 6th Promotion Conference of Film and TV Industry were held in West Lake District. Participants included Deputy Mayor Chen Hongying, the district leader Wu Xiangqian and relevant responsible persons of the province, city and district.

        This summit lasted for two days, and was themed by “Cultural Inheritance & Innovation and Advancing with Confidence”. It mainly focused on how the industry broke deadlock and developed healthily with confidence under the severe winter of film and TV. It is the most authoritative and professional international event of the highest level in Chinese film and TV industry in 2018. Outstanding representatives from Chinese leading enterprises, front-line creators, broadcasting platforms and correlative industries hold hands to create a new pattern for the health and prosperity of Chines film and TV industry by focusing on high-quality contents.

        The opening ceremony of China (Zhejiang) International Cooperation Experimental Zone for Film and TV Industry was held at the site of the activity. As the key project to advance the construction of Zhijiang Cultural Industry Belt, China (Zhejiang) International Cooperation Experimental Zone for Film and TV Industry is the national culture export base affirmed by the Ministry of Commerce, the Propaganda Department, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and National Radio and Television Administration. It is the important platform bearing the film and TV industry functions of Zhijiang Cultural Industry Belt, and the important carrier for Hangzhou to build the production center of Chinese film and TV contents and international film and TV industry base. At present, the experimental zone has been completed, and will be put into use soon. Platforms including Chinese TV Play (Internet Drama) Export Association and Taiwan-Mainland Exchange and Cooperation Center for Film and TV Industry have already settled down in the experimental zone.

        Besides, the blue book Development Report for Chinese TV Art (2018) was issued at the site of the activity, initiating the first China New Force Camp of Film and TV of “New Force Creating the Future”. Participants also discussed themes like “How to Evaluate the Contents from Data to Public Praise”, “How to Create High-quality Works from Policy to Audiences”, and “Exploring New Space and Creating New Order”.
