On the afternoon of September 19, special investment attraction activity of Yunqi Conference 2018 was developed in West Lake District. There are two stages, including Industrial Investment Promotion Conference of West Lake District&Centralized Signing Ceremony of Key Investment Attraction Projects of Three Quarters 2018 and Interactive Exchange Salon of Key Participating Enterprises of Yunqi Conference, in the activity.

        On the Industrial Investment Promotion Conference of West Lake District&Centralized Signing Ceremony of Key Investment Attraction Projects of Three Quarters 2018, Liu Ying the vice district secretary and district director delivered a speech and introduced the investment environment of West Lake District. Shi Yingli the director of Standing Committee of District People’s Congress, Chen Wei, Huang Youjun, Ma Pinfang, Zheng Guomei and Zhao Huada the district leaders attended. On the conference, Yunqi Town and Zijin Port Technology City were introduced as the key industrial platforms and there signed 25 key investment attraction projects.

He pointed out that great importance is attached to investment attraction in West Lake District. Since this year, there have held 2 centralized signing ceremonies and successively implemented 37 high-quality projects represented by Zhijiang International Film and Television Industry Cluster Area with total investment of 27.3 billion Yuan. There have signed 25 projects on the Centralized Signing Ceremony of Key Investment Attraction Projects of Three Quarters with total estimated investment of 10.2 billion Yuan. It is necessary for each department of each level to agree on the holding of Yunqi Conference 2018 and investment attraction activity so that all the circles can better understand the unique entrepreneurial resources, the best entrepreneurial atmosphere and unprecedented entrepreneurial environment of West Lake District. The great atmosphere of respecting innovation, wealth, talents and entrepreneurs around the whole district is further created through the signing ceremonies.

        Liu Ying briefly introduced the basic situations of our district. He pointed out that there highlight four characteristics of economic and social development of West Lake District. It is necessary to firmly establish the concept of “scenic mountains and rivers are priceless assets”, powerfully implement “Action of Beautiful West Lake”, greatly combine the environment rectification actions including “Co-governance of Sewage, Flood, Waterlogging, Water Supply and Water Saving”, “Reform of Old Residential Areas, Old Factory Areas and Villages in Cities and Demolition of Illegal Buildings”, reform of villages in cities and construction of beautiful countryside, eliminate V-type low-quality waters around the whole district, successfully achieve “Dayuding” and successfully found the area basically without any illegal buildings and national demonstration area for ecological civilization construction that have successfully passed provincial check and acceptance. Secondly, the comprehensive strength is the strongest. With accelerating to build the top district with a well-off society, whole-district beauty and all-citizen happiness as the objective, it is necessary to powerfully develop the advantageous industries represented by digital economy, cultural creativity, tourism entertainment and high technology and significantly improve the comprehensive strength. There realized the district total output value of 108.6 billion Yuan at the growth rate of 7% in 2017, the district total financial income of 24.5 billion Yuan at the growth rate of 10.8%, the district general public budget income of 12.6 billion Yuan at the growth rate of 10.9% and the major economic indexes ranking top in the whole city. Thirdly, the development space is the largest. It is necessary to closely stick to the major strategic deployment such as provincial and municipal construction of big garden, big bay district, big channel, big metropolitan area, Zhijiang Cultural Belt, development alongside the river, Chengxi Science and Technology Corridor, adhere to the plans and guidelines, make every effort to create the two major platforms including Zhijiang New Town in the south and Zijin Port Technology City in the north, powerfully promote the construction of characteristic towns, cooperate on the “double-town plan” and try to realize the both-end development of West Lake District in the new round. Fourthly, the entrepreneurial atmosphere is the best.
