On the afternoon of March 19, the third plenary meeting of the 15th People’s Congress of Xihu District of Hangzhou was held. At the meeting, District Mayor, Deputy Directors of the Standing Committee of the District People’s Congress, members of the Standing Committee of the District People’s Congress and Director of the District Supervisory Committee were elected by secret ballot.

      After voting, Gao Guofei was elected as Mayor of the People’s Government of the Xihu District; Zhang Liqun and Zheng Guomei were elected as Deputy Directors of the Standing Committee of the People’ Congress of the Xihu District; Ding Yuanhong, Fang Xiaoping, Zhou Zhiming and Xu Haozhe were elected as members of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of the Xihu District; and Chai Guoqing was elected as Director of the Supervisory Committee of the Xihu District.

      Subsequently, a constitutional swearing-in ceremony was held. The newly elected District Mayor, Deputy Directors of the Standing Committee of the District People’s Congress, members of the Standing Committee of the District People’s Congress and Director of the District Supervisory Committee swore in turn.
