On the afternoon of February 26, “2020 China Hangzhou Cloud Xihu Summit” hosted by Xihu District Committee District Government and undertaken by Investment Promotion Bureau was held. Gao Guofei (Secretary of District Committee) made a speech. Dong Yumin (Vice Secretary of District Committee and Acting District Mayor) introduced the investment and development environment. District leaders like Gao Weixing and He Jiaxin as well as responsible persons of related departments in the city and district were present.

Gao Guofei expressed that we adopted special investment attraction modes in the special period, which fully reflected the high attention of Xihu District to investment promotion. Dong Yumin introduced the investment and development environment by focusing on three keywords. First, Xihu is the culture and education city of Zhejiang, which has the most cultural education resources, the most famous brand and the most satisfied masses. Second, Xihu is the innovation source of Hangzhou. It increases the force of investment promotion, implements the grand strategy of “strengthening the north, initiating the south and rejuvenating the central region”, and vigorously creates ten platforms of “three cities, one valley and six small towns”. Third, Xihu is the international talent pool. It has sincerity of policy, development stage and service temperature in the aspect of “talent attraction”.

During the period of epidemic prevention and control, Xihu District held the first “cloud investment promotion” summit of the province this year with the innovative investment promotion mode, communicated with the clients through video form, and spared no effort to drive the negotiation and signing of major projects. This summit gathered 13 cutting-edge excellent enterprises and 10 well-known investment institutions, and focused on new manufacturing and artificial intelligence industries. On-the-spot broadcasting was conducted through the platform of “live video streaming + video conference”, to realize gathering of governments, entrepreneurs, investors and start-ups as well as efficient interlinkage of resources. The number of online watchers exceeded 500,000.
