Recently, Wang Jian, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and the chief architect of the Hangzhou City Brain and the founder of Alibaba Cloud, appeared on the CCTV program Voice to talk about the great changes that the City Brain has brought to our lives. In 2016, Hangzhou City Brain was released in Yunqi Town, taking the transportation field as a breakthrough, and started the exploration of improving urban traffic with large-scale data. After four years of development, Hangzhou City Brain has been upgraded from “traffic jam management” to “city management”. At present, it has gradually formed a good situation in which 11 major systems and 48 scenes are promoted simultaneously.

This year, Yunqi Town will continue to focus on cloud computing and City Brain, making every effort to build a breakthrough place, practice place and catalyst place of digital economy, and comprehensively build the first town of digital economy in China.

Take advantage of the situation and make every effort to build the city brain

City Brain is the most important part of building a city of collaborative innovation and cloud computing.

Taking the construction of “Hangzhou City Brain Industry Collaborative Innovation Base” as a key task, Yunqi Town will set up the City Brain Industry Fund of Yunqi Town to promote the industrialization of brain collaborative innovation and add leverage for the future step by step.

On the one hand, a directory of city brain ecological enterprises will be established. Yunqi Town will support the enterprises such as City Brain, CSPIRE Technologies, Tongde Technology and Tianrang Technology to become the leading enterprises in the subdivision field, and actively introduce the data solution suppliers of industrial chain to build a city brain industry cluster.

On the other hand, the development concept of “same brain type, service support” of city brain will be promoted constantly, and the output of technical architecture and technical solutions will be explored to support the popularization of technical standards of city brain to the whole country.

Guided by the situation, persistently promote the construction of cloud city

Driven by Alibaba Cloud, a leading enterprise in the cloud computing industry and supported by independent innovation, the cloud computing industry in Yunqi Town has been developing rapidly: a large number of “cloud” enterprises such as DT Dream, Zhengcaiyun, Xinhua Zhiyun and Watong Cloud have settled in Yunqi Town.

In the future, Yunqi Town will also continue to support enterprises such as Alibaba Cloud and DT Dream, and vigorously introduce advantageous enterprises such as CNNC Environmental Protection Innovation Center, National Medical Image Data Platform and Biosan, so as to promote the agglomeration of various cloud industries in the town.

In 2013, the first generation of Yunqi Town’s R&D personnel, relying on their own efforts and hard work, successfully developed the only general cloud computing platform with independent intellectual property rights in China, Feitian 5K, which has broken through the world-class technical problems and achieved the breakthrough of China’s cloud computing from scratch.

With technology, the next step is promotion and application. This year, Yunqi Town will promote the in-depth penetration of the “Feitian 5K” operating system into various fields, integrate chip, whole machine and application software manufacturers on the upstream and downstream of the industrial chain, and create an autonomous controllable server product based on the “Feitian” system, to form a complete and independent ecological system with both software and hardware.

On this basis, Yunqi Town will also plan to arrange open laboratories and workshops, attract high-level cloud computing talents and innovative entrepreneurial teams, build a demonstration base for cloud computing innovation and development, to provide support for independent innovation in the cloud computing industry.

Follow the trend and work together to build the Yunqi brand

The gradually improved hardware service supporting facilities provide enterprises with fertile “soil” for growth, while the activities of “thousands of cadres linking enterprises and thousands of enterprises linking departments” provide enterprises with a “soft environment” with best service. Next, Yunqi Town will give full play to the positive role of core resources such as celebrities, famous colleges and famous enterprises in industry leadership and scientific and technological innovation, and hold large-scale industrial activities such as Yunqi Conference and City Brain Industry Summit with high quality, so as to spread and export the scientific and technological innovation culture of Yunqi Town.

In August last year, the parking lot of Yunqi Town removed the traditional landing pole and replaced it with pole-free access, in which the bill is sent to the car owner’s mobile phone via text message when leaving the parking lot, enabling the driver to leave first and pay later. On this basis, Yunqi Town will continue to promote digital construction, explore more innovative application scenarios such as town construction, traffic guidance, grassroots governance, and social services, and constantly improve the modernization of urban governance.

In addition, Yunqi Town will speed up the establishment of 4A scenic spot, integrate the concept of future community, improve the space supporting construction, introduce, display and publicize Yunqi Town to tourists, and share the experience and practices of the construction of Hangzhou City Brain.
