A few days ago, the District CPC Committee, People’s Congress, government and CPPCC Leaders visited the laborers fighting in the front line with gifts to appreciate their contributions to the economic and social development of Xihu.

Gao Guofei the District Committee Secretary, Zhang Yueding and Dong Qingyuan the district leaders and their team went to Wenjiao Squadron of Xihu Traffic Police Brigade, Jiangcun Squadron of Xihu Fire Rescue Brigade and Yungu Campus of Westlake University to visit and express care for traffic police, fire officers and soldiers, construction workers and bring gifts relieving summer heat to them so as to appreciate their contributions to urban development and civil guarantee. At Wenjiao Squadron of Xihu Traffic Police Brigade, Gao Guofei pointed out that traffic police contribute much to road safety and non-blockage maintenance so we should care for the life and work of traffic police and remedy their worries based on good management of road traffic under high temperature. At Jiangcun Squadron of Xihu Fire Rescue Brigade, Gao Guofei said that the continuous high temperature has led to a sharp increase in causes for fire so it is necessary to do a good job in logistics support and safety protection for fire officers and soldiers under high temperature so that they can devote to their work with the best status. Even in this hot summer, everyone at Yungu Campus of Westlake University is still very busy. Gao Guofei communicated with relevant responsible persons to specifically know about the details of heatstroke prevention and schedules and told them to take care of the front-line workers working under high temperature, implement the labor security measures for heatstroke prevention and ensure that the orderly progress of project according to the existing schedule.

Dong Yumin the Deputy District Committee Secretary and District Director, Chen Bailei the district leader and their team went to the district government building, site of Xixi Financial Headquarter Park Phase I and WenErXi Road 615 to visit and express care for the cleaning staff, construction staff and front-line workers of mobile squadron of urban management law enforcement and listen to the report of project construction and relevant work. In the district government building, Dong Yumin expressed care and thanks to the workers on the front line in hope that they can pay attention to heatstroke prevention and physical health when completing their work. Then, Dong Yumin and his team reached the site of Xixi Financial Headquarter Park Phase I to know about the heatstroke prevention, schedule and other details of the construction field and request to implement the relevant measures so as to provide the urban constructors on the front line under high temperature with sufficient guarantee. At WenErXi Road 615, Dong Yumin greeted the front-line staff of urban management law enforcement mobile squadron. He said that urban management and law enforcement personnel should strive to overcome the difficulties caused by high temperature, reasonably arrange the time for rest, strengthen the law enforcement patrol, practically perform the urban management duties, improve the working levels of urban management and law enforcement in Xihu District, and maintain the urban management order.

Shi Yingli the director of Standing Committee of District People's Congress, Zhang Yueding and Wang Bo the district leaders and their team went to the construction site of Main Lake Project of Shuangpu Tongjian Lake, Zhijiang Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. and Zhuantang Police Station to express care and sincere greetings for the front-line staff and gift them with heatstroke prevention supplies. Shi Yingli carefully inquired about the working and living conditions of the staff, and told the staff sticking to their posts to pay attention to heatstroke prevention work during hard work so as to ensure the safe progress of work. Meanwhile, he also told the relevant responsible persons to do their utmost to create a good working environment and reasonably arrange the working and rest schedules of staff.

Ye Weiping the chairman of district CPPCC and Chen Yu the district leader and their team successively visited the construction site of Sandun Sports Center, Wenxin Market Supervision Office of District Market Supervision Bureau and District Social Governance Comprehensive Service Center. Ye Weiping expressed sincere appreciation for the front-line staff’s duty performance. He talked with the working staff and inquired their current working and life conditions. He also told the relevant responsible persons over and over again to give priority to the personal safety of staff, fully focus on their labor and life conditions and positively prepare each heatstroke prevention measure.
