On the afternoon of August 24, Xihu District held the Advancement Meeting on Future Community Creation. The leaders listened to the general advancement situations about future community creation and the pilot work of old community demolition and renovation in the district as well as the reports about advancement situations of future community creation projects in the province and city. Besides, requirements are raised for the follow-up work. Gao Guofei (Secretary of District Committee) directed the meeting and made a speech. Dong Yumin (Vice Secretary of District Committee and District Mayor) and other district leaders including Chen Bailei and Shao Xiaojun were present.

Gao Guofei fully affirmed the achievements made by the district in future community creation at the previous stage. He pointed out that the future community was the major project of the province and city, and the symbolic achievement of constructing the “important window”; Xihu District was trying to create a good district of common prosperity; we must practically enhance the sense of responsibility and sense of urgency to build the future community, deepen, consolidate and complete this work, try to enter the front rank, and display the effect and sample of Xihu with Xihu actions.

Gao Guofei emphasized that we should focus on the following four aspects. First, we should stick on the goal. We must establish firm confidence, stick on the goal, conduct active reflection, active analysis and active planning, write a great article for the future community in the district, promote the creation of future village with high standards, spare no effort to create future communities of demolition and renovation category, integration category and new construction category, find a solution for the future community reserve warehouse, and make future communities flourish everywhere in Xihu District. Second, we should accelerate the progress. Various towns, sub-districts and departments should positively cooperate with each other, learn from each other in procedure, connect to each other in system, accelerate the process comprehensively, complete the target task as soon as possible, make achievements early, and set an example. Third, we should strengthen the guarantee. Resource planning and residential building departments should provide services and guarantees, strengthen the responsibility, guarantee the implementation, and smoothly advance various procedures in future community creation. Fourth, we should intensify the leadership. We must strengthen the organization and leadership, establish a special work team, study every week, report every month, coordinate frequently, patrol regularly, guarantee safety production, and form a good working mechanism and atmosphere.

Dong Yumin emphasized that we should pay high attention to three aspects in the future. First, we should reflect the entity responsibility. We must highlight the subject role of owners and owners committee under the leadership of the government, share the responsibilities, guarantee a promising government, effective market and affectionate people. Second, we should pay attention to the creation characteristics. We must manifest characteristics, emphasize “internal part”, make an overall plan for the construction of digital scenes, and treat functional promotion as the important content of community transformation. Third, we should increase the capital performance. We must stick to the policy, control the bidding procedure, increase the bidding procedure performance, gain a positive and reliable effect, and give people a sense of acquisition and sense of happiness.
