Yesterday morning, Xihu District held a special session to study the advancement work of Wensan Digital Life Block, and study related matters about lighting engineering lights and signages at Wensan Digital Life Block as well as the operation of Wensan Digital Life Block; the participants listened to the reports about related situations and raised requirements for the follow-up work. Dong Yumin (Vice Secretary of District Committee and District Mayor) made a speech. The district leaders including Gao Weixing and Ma Pinfang were present.

By aiming at the lighting engineering lights and signages at Wensan Digital Life Block, Dong Yumin emphasized that we should focus on the following three aspects next. First, we should pay attention to examination and approval. We must comprehensively implement the work concept of “four questions and four authorities”, intensify the responsibility, make preparations for project examination and approval, and ensure the orderly completion of project examination and approval; strengthen communication and coordination, analyze the problems and difficulties, make up the short slab, and guarantee that the examination and approval process is standard. Second, we should pay attention to construction. We must implement the requirements of “unified design”, “unified tendering” and “unified construction”, advance the construction according to the time nodes, deeply optimize the design scheme, continue to attract big and strong enterprises, strictly implement the construction requirements, and advance the construction of Wensan Digital Life Block with high quality. Third, we should pay attention to management. We must make plans in advance, conduct careful deployment, formulate management schemes with a forward-looking viewpoint, accelerate the organizing of institution, establish a mechanism as early as possible, and escort the previous preparation and future development of Wensan Digital Life Block.

By aiming at related matters about the operation of Wensan Digital Life Block, Dong Yumin affirmed the operation framework first. He pointed out that it would help to generalize high-quality experience to adopt a reasonable and standard cooperation framework, to increase the operation level with professional power, standardize operation and management with assessment and rewarding, and positively explore the new mode of government and enterprise cooperation. He emphasized that we should focus on the following two aspects next. First, we should conduct high-quality construction. We must stick to the “baseline of safety”, enhance the political stance, face the problem and short slab, carry out engineering supervision, and eliminate hidden dangers in time; pay attention to environment coordination, make long-term plans, focus on block construction with a global viewpoint, optimize the design scheme with high standard, and further beautify the “appearance” of the block. Second, we should attract large projects. Based on the contribution of professional power from enterprises, related departments, towns and sub-districts should fully express the subjective initiative, positively launch projects, comprehensively analyze the project list, continue to optimize project attraction, promote the implementation of high-quality projects, and further tamp the “content” of the block.
